I’m Johanna Hautaniemi, a photographer and photographic artist based in Jokela, Tuusula. In my studio, I photograph portraits, personal portraits, confirmation and graduation photos, children, families, and more artistic visual concepts.
For me, a good photograph begins when something genuine becomes visible. It may be a look, a feeling, a sense of presence, or a fleeting moment that deserves to be preserved.
During the photoshoot, I guide you clearly and gently. You don’t need to know how to be in front of the camera — it is enough to arrive as yourself.
Background and expertise
I studied photography, visual expression and media at Pekka Halonen Academy, graduating in spring 2023 with a vocational qualification in media and visual expression. I am currently continuing my studies at Turku University of Applied Sciences, working towards a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Media Production.
My skills are rooted in photography, image editing, graphic design, communication and social media content creation. In my work, I combine technical knowledge with personal expression — both in client photoshoots and in my own artistic projects.
Photographic art
Alongside client photography, I create my own photographic art. Nature, light, colour, mirrors, shapes and quiet details inspire me. In my artistic images, I often explore emotion, humanity and moments of stillness.
I have taken part in photographic art exhibitions, and my artistic work continues to grow side by side with my client photography.
